About MHOS

The Mid-Hudson Orchid Society is dedicated to providing a supportive community to encourage communication and education among individuals who are interested in the growing and study of orchids. New members and guests are always encouraged to join us. We are located in the beautiful Hudson River Valley region of New York State.

Our monthly meetings are held in Newburgh, Orange County, NY, which is located approximately 60 miles northwest of New York City. In addition to our monthly meetings, we have a members' show table, guest speakers, special bus trips to orchid shows, and discounted supplies for our members. The Society also conducts an orchid show and sale twice each year which is open to the public. We are registered with the American Orchid Society.
